Tammy was nominated for an Emmy for the first season of Michael Moore's, The Awful Truth. During her tenure with The Awful Truth, she executed seven days of live "town hall" taping in front of a 900-person audience for the wrap around portion of the show. She has also worked with a wide range of talent including Phil Donahue, Conan O'Brien, Michael Moore, Joan Lunden, Nancy Glass, and Jennifer Lopez.

Initializing her accent into the television industry, Tammy got her start at the soap opera Another World. Subsequent progressions led her to the talk show arena where she was able to quickly rise through the ranks on such shows as Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Donahue and The Gordon Elliott Show.
